ABSTRACT
Coronavirus disease 19 or COVID-19 is a new respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus, SARS CoV-2. After its first report in China, the disease rapidly to more than 200 countries. COVID-19 is a big pandemic and cause problem worldwide. This new disease can cause accurate febrile respiratory illness and death might be a possible outcome in the severe case. Many million people get suffering from this disease. The containment of COVID-19 requires a strict infection control process. The example of a strict infection control process is the locking down, which is already implemented in several countries around the world. During the outbreak, it is recommended that the people should be at home. Here, the authors share patient experience on illness at home during COVID-19 outbreak as a personal narrative. This is a good example of patient who got obstructed at home during COVID-19 outbreak and call for a consultation for her illness via internet communication media. There is no previous report on patient experience with detailed timeline of suffering at home. The suffering of sick person at home during locking down period might not be well recognized. The lessons learnt from this personal narrative can be used for further development in healthcare support to the people living at home during the COVID-19 outbreak.
