ABSTRACT Ectopic Liver Tissue (ELT) is a rare condition mostly discovered incidentally during a surgery or autopsy. It is usually found around the gallbladder but other locations had been described since 1904 when it had been mentioned for the first time by Albert. This study aims to present a 54-yo-female with an independent ectopic liver tissue lying on the gallbladder but with its own vasculary supply and no connection to the gallbladder wall but also to review over this infrequent entity.
